When Vulcan Engineering was founded in 1970, it consisted of only a handful of employees, a small facility and a Total Concept approach to engineering, manufacturing and installation. Since it’s inception, the company has remained true to its promise to provide “Expertise Backed by Experience.” Since day one, Vulcan has dedicated itself to increasing the productivity and profitability of its customers, whether their projects require a simple piece of equipment or a complete integrated facility.
Fifty years later, Vulcan Engineering occupies more than 300,000 square feet of design and manufacturing space at the Helena, Alabama location, and is the largest in-house foundry engineering, equipment design, manufacture and full service integration group in North America.
In addition to expanding its domestic facilities, Vulcan's international presence has also grown over the years. Vulcan has the capability to provide sales and service to the metals industry worldwide.
