Due to COVID concerns, this year the Investment Casting Institute has decided to hold their annual Conference and Expo in a virtual space. Officially titled the 2020 Virtual Technical Conference and 3D Expo on Investment Casting, it offers a full virtual conference experience and an opportunity for exhibitors like Vulcan to have a show presence without actually attending a physical event.
The rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus has radically altered the landscape of upcoming trade shows and events for the foundry industry. As one might imagine, the worldwide calendar of events has been thrown into uncharted waters, with many 2020 industry trade shows cancelling or postponing their planned events until further notice.

This April Vulcan Engineering will be a part of the largest North American gathering of the metalcasting supply chain, CastExpo 2019. Every three years, the American Foundry Society brings together the metalcasting industry for CastExpo, featuring full-scale exhibits, equipment demos, networking and education opportunities over four days. This year's show takes place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, and boasts over 400 exhibitors and 6,000 attendees.
